MOVE WELL PILATES · TOGETHER FOR MND
Privacy Policy
Your privacy at Together for MND
Move Well Pilates is organising our wellbeing fundraiser at Maesycwmmer Community Centre on 29 November 2026. This policy explains how we look after the information you share when you book tickets or contact us about the event. Move Well Pilates is responsible for this information.
When you book a ticket
We ask for your name, email address and telephone number, along with the number of tickets you would like. We keep your booking reference, the amount paid and payment status so we can confirm your place and recognise your booking on the day. These details are required to complete an online booking.
Keeping in touch about your booking
We use your email address to send your confirmation and admission ticket. We may use your email or telephone number if we need to discuss your booking, a ticket transfer, a refund or an important change to the event. If you contact us, we keep the correspondence needed to answer your enquiry. Buying a ticket does not subscribe you to a mailing list.
Paying for your tickets
Payment takes place on Stripe’s secure checkout page. Stripe handles your card information; this website does not collect or store your full card details. We receive the payment result and reference needed to confirm your tickets or deal with a payment query.
Who helps us run the website
We use Heroku to host the website and booking database, Stripe for payments, and Google Gmail to send booking emails. They process the information needed for those services, including technical information used to keep them secure. We do not sell your information or share booking lists with sponsors or stallholders for marketing. Our hosting is in Europe; these providers may also process information outside the UK under their data-protection arrangements. Please contact us if you would like details of the safeguards relevant to your booking.
Our Gmail connection
Only the organiser authorises access to the sending Gmail account. The website uses Google’s Gmail API with permission to send emails, such as booking confirmations. It does not request permission to read the mailbox, and attendees do not need to sign in with Google. OAuth credentials are stored in the server configuration so the website can send these messages; they are not shared with attendees, sponsors or stallholders. The organiser can revoke this access through their Google Account.
Donations and other websites
If you choose to donate through our JustGiving link, your donation is handled by JustGiving under its own privacy policy. The same applies when you follow a sponsor’s website or social-media link. This event website does not receive the details you enter on those sites.
Why we use and keep your details
We use your information to fulfil your ticket booking. We also have a legitimate interest in answering enquiries, protecting the booking service from misuse and resolving disputes. Where necessary, we keep records to meet legal obligations. Access is limited to people who need the information to carry out these tasks. We retain it for as long as needed to manage the event and any outstanding enquiries, refunds, disputes or record-keeping requirements, then delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct a mistake, or request deletion, restricted use or a portable copy where applicable. Some information may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or resolve a claim.
Your right to object
You can object to our use of your information where we rely on legitimate interests. Contact us with your request and we will consider your circumstances.
